International Volunteering is the noblest decision you can ever make. Most volunteers go abroad to help another race unlike their own; sometimes even the cost of their lives. News about the recent happenings of the Red Cross volunteers in the Philippines saddens me. People take the effort to help and they were being stopped by such incidents.

I was reading the news today and it warms my heart that the good news even out the bad news I read. International Volunteering as expected changes lives in the most unexpected and profound ways. Anthony Williams is one of the many youths ages 18 to 19 that have been changed by Platform2. A former thief who was chosen to volunteer in Ghana came back full of hope and determination to live life differently as he has used to lived.

Platform2 is an international and global volunteering group in UK supported by Department for International Development and managed by Islamic Relief and Christian Aid. It gives less advantages adults the chance to work, live and gain knowledge about life in third world countries or poorer countries.

Sometimes in my daily life I was content to just party anywhere with my friends but sometimes I was looking for something more different and a more significant experience. Volunteering is a best idea for me to get out in a life of a party and gives you the best volunteering opportunity to do something to others, to give back and go somewhere to stay. I believe that I still have more time to explore and share through volunteering some far places ruins. Volunteering isn’t a way to change the world because it wouldn’t happen but a way to challenge you everyday, let our mind and heart open to reality and test our patience.

Some parts of the city also needs health services, if you have the skills about medication, you can volunteer in their health volunteering program.

While, if you like marine conservation you can volunteer in Marine and Sea Turtle Conservation. We all know that the leatherback kind of turtle is already endangered. It is already 80% of the population of these turtles is lost for the past 10 years. Costa Rica is hoping to relieve this problem through the help of volunteers. Vietnam conducted a volunteer program that volunteers required to do a project of Agent Orange Victims through Organic gardening in Hay Tay Province by preparing soil, clearing the site, planting vegetables, weeding and cleaning a fish fond. The main goal for the organic gardening is to provide an extra food to children and opportunities provided for rehabilitation labor. In some area of volunteer work, Vietnam volunteer provide educational and social activities and care to the orphans in SOS children’s village Viet Tri.Recently, there is about 168 orphans who lives in 15 families under the care of the staff and village mother.
