Filipino and British Volunteer Work Collaboration
Volunteer work can be the most touching, heartfelt, and ever-remarkable for a lifetime. Participating in several form of community service is very agreeable, in particular to involve in some kind of voluntary work with adults and children. Voluntary work abroad is more pleasing to go through, given that every country encourages booming programs for people who like to volunteer in its territory.

In Manila, Philippines, a couple of months ago this year, 2011, there are 10 British youth who volunteer to work in the capital city of the country for 3 months in accompany with 10 professional Filipino youth on a volunteer program to control human trafficking as well as to endorse health awareness.
These participants from (ICS) the International Citizen Service youth action, funded by the United Kingdom’s (DID) Department for International Development, are the first batch of volunteers that gives a great number of young adults in their country and so as to other parts on the planet the opportunity to adhere and fight not in favor to global poverty, to live, learn, and work along with the Filipino youth from the VSO Bahaginan volunteering on a range of community volunteer works.
Collaborating volunteer works, British youth and Filipino youth unite for a cause. Chris Wright, the Second Secretary Political in British Embassy Manila has welcomed the British volunteers at the official launch of the project lately.
Mr. Wright said – that he had observed that both of the countries (Britain and Philippines) distributed in common is a genuine desire, a true respect for human rights, a true respect for making a unique difference and a true interest in getting involved in making a difference oneself. The experience will change not only the volunteers’ lives but including the other people’s lives they will be working with.
All volunteers were working together on community-based projects in assistance with the Hagonoy, Bulacan local government.
