Some people volunteer because it’s a great opportunity to allow them to make new discoveries about their self and personal achievement. Volunteering abroad is one of the stepping stone of building up your self confidence and total independence.

In this year 2009, some countries invite volunteers for a volunteer work such as teaching elite children, assistant for the healthcare, medical mission, social services, environmental conservation and others. To do an international volunteer work will make a contribution of your personal global level and you will be experiencing in the other country the hands-on learning and you have the opportunity to express ideas to the community with open-mind.

In Vietnam, this year 2009 there are volunteer opportunities that are widely open to those who are interested. Some opportunities are to educate and conduct leisure activities in a poor fishing village to those disadvantaged children which has 25-30 children that came from a poor fishing village who are street children. Teaching English in Tay Dang orphanage and renovation works that is located in the Western area of Ha Noi Vietnam, this volunteer project involves volunteer to teach English to children, conduct some playing activities and also some work gardening. The International volunteers will also join local people group to make “Chung”, form of cake that will be give in every Lunar New years Day and gift giving to the poor residents in Vietnam. Vietnam conducted a volunteer program that volunteers required to do a project of Agent Orange Victims through Organic gardening in Hay Tay Province by preparing soil, clearing the site, planting vegetables, weeding and cleaning a fish fond. The main goal for the organic gardening is to provide an extra food to children and opportunities provided for rehabilitation labor. In some area of volunteer work, Vietnam volunteer provide educational and social activities and care to the orphans in SOS children’s village Viet Tri.Recently, there is about 168 orphans who lives in 15 families under the care of the staff and village mother.

With this said Vietnam Volunteer works project, volunteer is already provided an accommodation that is already arrange and an extra fee that is intended to sustain the volunteer work program that do not have a sufficient funds.
